Intro to 2D Animation & Digital Illustration
DATES:
-
Drawing and Illustration have never been more exciting as students use professional graphic design software and hardware to bring their characters to life and animate them. Students in this course will come away with the basic knowledge and experience of professional illustration and animation.
At the beginning of the week, students will look at the professional animation pipeline, strongly focusing on illustrative pre-production. Students will utilize industry-standard tools like Adobe Photoshop and Toon Boom Harmony.
By the end of the week, students will have created a production packet or portfolio of illustrated works and apply those creations to a final animation, replicating the process industry professionals follow in major studios.
